Ads, Ad, Advertising: this is an English word used to define online advertising. There are several variations of this term such as " native ads ," " social ads ," or " SEA, Search Engine Advertising."
A backlink is a hyperlink that points to a web page or website. Backlinks increase the number of visits to a site. The more backlinks a site has, the more popular it is with Google and the higher its chances of ranking in search results. Backlinks are therefore essential for your ranking . Indirectly, backlinks from social media are also important because they generate traffic to your site. This is a good reason to include them in your digital marketing strategy.
Follower/Fan : This term refers to anyone who subscribes to your account on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or TikTok and, therefore, can see and follow the new content you create. Your followers form your community.
Hashtag/tag : a clickable keyword preceded by the hash symbol (#). On social media and websites, hashtags help categorize posts by theme and category, making it easier to share the content you create for your campaigns. Of course, hashtags are also essential for launching challenges.
Inbound marketing: a marketing technique that relies primarily on a content creation strategy (website or social media). It allows brands to attract visitors to their website in order to convert them into leads (prospects) and then into customers.
Metrics: These are measurement indicators. For example, to assess awareness , a social media agency might use the following metrics: brand mentions, backlinks, shares, website traffic, etc.
Organic: refers Organic marketing to techniques for increasing a brand's visibility without purchasing advertising space. It is also known as SEO or natural search engine optimization.
Reach : This metric measures the reach of a post or advertising campaign to its target audience on social media. The calculation of reach generally differs from one social network to another. For YouTube, for example, it's typically measured by the number of views per video.
