The Brief
Create a new packaging design that allows Villars to assert its historical difference
from the two Swiss chocolate giants (Lindt and Nestlé).
Data & Insights
In a highly competitive market, it is essential for brands to innovate in
their packaging design if they want to stand out visually on the shelf and appeal to an
increasingly demanding consumer accustomed to ever more diversity.
The Answer
Created in close collaboration with the marketing teams in Villars, Switzerland, the new
design uses illustration to represent iconic elements of Swiss nature,
hot foil stamping in gold to convey the pride of unique craftsmanship, all punctuated by the
modernity of pop color codes.
