The Brief
Using the launch of Twinings flavored teas as a way to establish a new brand perception in a segment where it is not expected.
Data & Insights
Several groups of influencers helped us realize that consuming flavored teas wasn't just a sensory journey, but also a fun and enjoyable experience.
The agency then played with Twinings' character and DNA to reveal a rock 'n' roll England to consumers through an energizing, fashionable, and incredibly delicious music video!
The Answer
The agency designed a 15-second TV commercial and created 10 contextual digital videos whose product message adapts based on the user's search query. All metrics improved, including appeal, impact, and attribution, which was a key challenge as Twinings was entering the flavored tea segment for the first time! The campaign was awarded the 2020 Effie Award for Food & Beverages.
