The Chamber of Trades and Crafts is recruiting on TikTok
What better way to inspire 15- to 18-year-olds to pursue vocational training than with TikTok? That's the approach taken by the Chamber of Trades and Crafts and the agency So Bang. They enlisted 12 TikTok influencers—bakers, pastry chefs, tilers, hairdressers, and beauty and makeup specialists—with a simple tagline inserted in the middle of their videos: "If you want to do what I do, it's easy, just take a vocational training course with the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Île-de-France." It's an original way to leverage the wide range of interests on TikTok and its strong appeal to Gen Z.
A campaign that created a strong involvement from the influencers themselves who are very attached to vocational training, such as the influencer Cook and Record who, following a career change, had herself shared with her followers her entire journey up to obtaining her CAP pâtisserie a year ago.
A campaign that can be found right now on TikTok.
